Statementory provides AI-powered feedback on UCAS personal statements. Reviews are generated automatically using large language model technology and are intended as guidance only. They do not constitute professional admissions advice, and Statementory makes no guarantee of any particular university admissions outcome.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian before making a payment or submitting personal information. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are displayed in your local currency (EUR, GBP, or USD) based on your location. By completing payment, you authorise Stripe to charge the amount shown. Pro subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled.
Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and your access continues until the period ends. For single reviews: by submitting your statement and completing payment, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is fulfilled upon delivery of the completed review. If no review has been generated, you may request a refund by contacting us within 14 days of payment.
If you experience any issue with your review — including a technical failure that prevented delivery, a review that is clearly not personalised to the statement you submitted, or a justified complaint about the quality of the review — please contact us at support@statementory.com within 24 hours of purchase. We will review your case and, at our discretion, re-generate or refund your payment. Refund requests submitted more than 24 hours after purchase, or where the review has been read and the feedback acted upon, are not eligible. Pro subscription fees for the current billing period are non-refundable upon cancellation; however, access continues until the billing period ends.
Personal statements submitted for single reviews and free previews are processed immediately and deleted after the review or preview is generated. For Pro subscribers, statements may be stored to provide the review history and version comparison features in your dashboard. You retain full ownership of your personal statement at all times. By submitting it, you grant Statementory a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of generating your review.
You agree not to: submit content that is offensive, fraudulent, or violates any third party's rights; attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer the service; resell or redistribute reviews generated by Statementory; use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
Reviews are generated by an AI model and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should use the feedback as one input among many — alongside your own judgement and, where possible, advice from teachers or advisers. Statementory is not responsible for any admissions decisions made on the basis of its reviews.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Statementory is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. For users in the United Kingdom, UK consumer protection law and UK GDPR apply. For users in the European Union, EU consumer protection law and the GDPR apply. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at support@statementory.com. We will try to resolve the matter within 10 business days. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may refer the matter to your local consumer protection authority or, for UK users, to the relevant alternative dispute resolution scheme.
We may update these terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify Pro subscribers by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
